Birding Tours

Recently I had the privilege of birding in Costa Rica, and that experience has been a life-changing one. Intellectually I had known for years about the importance of Central American habitat to the songbirds that breed in North America and winter in the tropics and to the hawks and shore birds that work their way northward every spring cycle along the South American to North America migration route. But it wasn’t until I saw it all for myself that the magnitude of the interconnectedness of the America’s hemispheres, south and north, really sank in. Once this happened to me I just had to share the opportunity of visiting the tropics with other birders and photographers!

To find out how you can join me on an affordable tour to this diverse country where there is a possibility of seeing over 850 species of birds, 34,000 insect species, and 200 species of mammals, here are two links: http://www.majesticfeathers.com/tours.html
